Mechanical Design of complex light weight structures for space projects, with emphasis on deployment systems
Conceptual design and dimensioning of modules and individual components
Creation of manufacturing documentation such as component and assembly drawings and parts lists
Support to deployment- vibration- and shock-tests of structures
Preparation of design and test documentation
Presentation of designs to customers
Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or related disciplines
Proficiency in CAD Systems, preferably Solid Works
Systematic and independent working style
Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility
Team player, good communication skills
Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage
