Become IT Administrator (m/f/d) at SpaceTech

Due to the continued growth of SpaceTech and increasing requirements in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digitalization and AI, we are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to strengthen our internal IT team.

Your Tasks as IT Administrator at SpaceTech

• Administration and further development of our Windows and Linux IT infrastructure

• Administration of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Intune

• Administration of VMware ESXi, virtual machines, storage and backup systems

• Configuration and troubleshooting of networks, VLANs, WLAN, VPN, DNS and DHCP

• Administration and monitoring of firewalls, in particular Sophos environments

• Installation and support of clients, mobile devices, printers and workplace IT

• User support and structured troubleshooting of hardware, software, network and access issues

• Automation of recurring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar technologies

• Support of IT security, patch management, system hardening, monitoring and documentation

• Evaluation and implementation of AI-supported workflows using OpenAI, Claude, APIs and AI agents

• Participation in internal IT projects together with the IT team and external service providers

Your Skills and Experience as IT Administrator at SpaceTech

• Degree in IT, computer science or a comparable field, or relevant practical experience in IT administration

• Motivated graduates with strong practical IT knowledge are also welcome to apply

• Good knowledge of Windows environments and Linux

• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Intune

• Experience or good practical understanding of virtualization, backup systems and SAN / NAS environments

• Good understanding of networking, switching, VLANs, firewalls and troubleshooting

• Scripting skills, particularly PowerShell and/or Bash; Python is a plus

• Interest in modern AI tools, automation, APIs and AI agents

• Good understanding of IT security principles

• Pro-active, pragmatic and structured approach to problem solving

• Team player with good communication and organizational skills

• Good English and German skills
